Terms of Service
Effective date:
These terms govern your use of this website and quote-based purchases from Rivex Medical LLC. They are written to match how we actually sell: written quotes, made-to-order products, business buyers.
1. Who we are
Rivex Medical LLC(“Rivex,” “we”) is a Texas limited liability company with its principal office at 604 Killarney, Richardson, TX 75081. We are an importer and distributor of medical consumables sourced from third-party manufacturers.
2. B2B only
This site and our products are offered to businesses and professional buyers. By requesting a quote or placing an order you represent that you are acting for a business, practice, or organization — not as a consumer.
3. Quotes and orders
- Nothing on this site is an offer to sell at a stated price. Product pages describe specifications; all pricing is provided by written quote.
- A quote states the products, specifications, quantities, delivered price, estimated lead time, and validity period. An order exists when you accept a quote in writing and we confirm it.
- Products are generally made to order. Lead times on quotes are good-faith estimates; we communicate changes promptly.
- Payment terms are stated on each quote or invoice. We do not currently offer credit accounts.
4. Specifications govern
Each product’s written specification (as printed on the quote and published on its product page) defines what we’re selling. If a delivered product doesn’t conform to its specification, that’s our problem to fix — see Section 6. Product descriptions elsewhere (marketing copy, guides) are informational.
5. Regulatory status — stated precisely
Products are manufactured by third parties who hold their own ISO 13485 certifications and FDA establishment registrations. Most products in our catalog are FDA Class I devices exempt from 510(k) premarket review; patient exam gowns are not regulated as medical devices. No product we sell is “FDA approved.” Products are intended to be used as labeled; nothing on this site is medical advice.
6. Claims and remedies
- Inspect deliveries on arrival. Report shortages or transit damage within 5 business days of delivery, with photos and the lot number.
- Report product-quality nonconformities against the specification at any time within the product’s shelf life, referencing the lot number (that’s what lot traceability is for).
- For confirmed nonconformities we will, at our option, replace the product or credit the purchase price. Because products are made to order (and often private-labeled), orders are not returnable for convenience once production has started.
- Our total liability for any order is capped at the price paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Website use
Content on this site (text, images, specifications) belongs to Rivex or its licensors. You may use it to evaluate and purchase products, including sharing spec sheets inside your organization. Don’t scrape, misrepresent, or republish it as your own.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes belong exclusively to the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the current version. Orders are governed by the terms in effect (and the quote issued) when the order was confirmed.
